Fees are applied to sale price + shipping charged, as most platforms do. Poshmark: flat $2.95 below $15, otherwise the % you set. Facebook: minimum $0.80. Taxes on your income are not included. This tool gives estimates only.
How the numbers work
- Profit = sale price + shipping charged − platform fees − ad fees − item cost − inbound shipping − your postage − packaging.
- Margin = profit ÷ (sale price + shipping charged).
- ROI = profit ÷ total cost (item + inbound shipping + postage + packaging).
- Break-even price = the sale price at which profit is exactly $0.
